How to volunteer for Special Olympics

How I did it: I signed up with my Bible study group and we all went together. I did mostly team registration, and then some score keeping. I met a lot of people from all over Massachusetts and other places who were volunteering. It was also really fun to watch the athletes. Each one was so excited when it was their turn to play basketball--especially when we presented the medals to the winners. Read how I did it…

It's hard, but if you love him, then it's so worth it 9 months ago

I go to college about two hours away from my boyfriend of almost nine months. We have been apart for about seven months now. We talk on the phone everynight, and I get to see him on breaks, and occasionally I will go home for a weekend. But it is hard because he doesn’t have a car, so he can’t come up here, and I work so it’s hard to get time off to drive back home to see him. Summer is coming soon though :)

I think it actually strengthens a relationship. You learn to apprieciate them and trust them a lot more.

I am planning a double birthday party for my best friend and my boyfriend at Block Island, Rhode Island. I am looking into us (and our friends) to all go parasailing. My sister and my dad went a few years back, and I am hoping to do the same.
