1. I am grateful that my bosses and I seem to be getting along great. While I’m still not out of that 90 day phase, I still find myself getting comfortable.

2. I am grateful for the comfort of loving and being loved in return.

3. I am grateful for physical evidence of my becoming more and more physically fit. One day I will be able to reveal a “banging body” to the world! LOL

4. I am grateful for Marshall’s, and the outlet malls in St. Augustine. Further grateful to be earning an income that allows me to be me, once again.

5. I am grateful for a mate that caters to me, for a change. My mother used to say that when two people truly love each other, they each get in the other’s way to express it. I know what she meant.

Father's Day 2009 5 months ago

1. I am grateful that Kenneth had fun on his fishing trip today. Even if he did have to stop by Winn-Dixie on the way home, he brought home fish, that’s all that matters! LOL

2. I am grateful that I’ve finally found an effective way to lose weight.

3. I am grateful for my new job, and all that that implies.

4. I am grateful for the example set in Proverbs 31:10-31. Woman, the way that God intended her.

5. I am grateful for the comfort of my home, in spite of what could have been.



Lose 20 pounds (read all 14 entries…)
I've lost a total of 3.2 pounds Since June 6th 5 months ago

That was the date I’d started Weight Watchers. Today was a good day. I went into my weekly points allowance by 3, which was not so bad. I spent the morning out with the children, so I KNOW I earned activity points which I didn’t log. Also, I did “old-fashioned” housework today. I joked to my husband that I would hand wash the dishes, sweep the floors and mop with a bucket (all of which I did), but I drew the line at washing the clothes in the river with rocks! I used the washer and dryer. Off on another tangent, but the short story is that I burned extra calories cleaning today.

Hubby’s snoring, ‘cause I sent him out on a fishing charter for Father’s Day. (Don’t tell him I told you guys, but he brought home fish fillets from Winn-Dixie, LOL!) (SHHHHHH).

All in all, today was a good day.
