Okay.. actually, getting to the lessons stage is the second stage.. i’ve been at the first stage for three years.

I bought an acoustic guitar 3 years ago with the intention of teaching myself how to play it by watching DVD’s and having a chords manual… well.. i learned 2 chords and then moved.. to never have taken the damned thing back out of the box i sealed it in when i moved.

I’m tired of saying, “I plan to take lessons, but…” So I enrolled in a guitar class at the Community College. Classes start toward the end of January. YAY!

So… today.. I don’t know what came over me… but I began the process of building my own online business. Call me crazy!

I just got tired of telling people, “Stop talking about it and just DO IT”... so i told myself that I needed to follow my own advice… and tonight.. i did it! I signed up for my own website .. got a domain name and a business email. The ball is NOW rolling… HARD CORE!... like an avalanche!

The website, if you’re wondering, will feature art created by moi! It’s something that I’ve always wanted to do but never did it – because of fear. I think a lot of my apprehension had to come from the thought that no one would buy my work – then i’d feel inadequate and that I wasn’t creating sellable work.

Within a week or two, i will have my website up and running.. and fully functional. (I hope).

Okay.. so I signed up for Nanowrimo and I’m revvin’ my writer’s engine! Watch out 50,000 words… here i come!
