The plan next spring is to sell cheese at the farmers market, I already make yogurt, so going to cheese making is not that big of a step up. The problem will be producing different cheeses in enough quantity to sell.

How I did it: Well, its been a year since I got my day old peeps, I have two black Australorps and two Barred Plymouth Rocks who give us about 20-24 eggs a week.I built my own chicken coop and run, it turned out ok but you may want to find a good set of plans online. Read how I did it…
I have a bunch of day old chicks arriving in the mail today or tomorrow. All hens and good brown egg layers. I know it will take 5 months or so before they start laying so I’m getting in now rather than later.
I cant wait till we get home grown eggs… so much better than the dreck in the supermarkets.
Were getting a mix of Australorps, Barred Plymouth Rocks, Red Sex Links and Black Sex Links.
Ive upgraded my mando from a rogue to a much nicer Ibanez M511SBS. The quality is like night and day.
So its back to basic learning for me, which is tough and repetitive, since I know what I want to achieve but the fingers wont comply :)
