Marriage should be a wonderful thing and I believe it can be when you’re married to the right person. I married a man who only wanted to think of himself and not his family. It was a horrible situation.
Needless to say, I pray that if God brings marriage in my life again that it’ll be with a Godly man.
I know happy marriages are real. There are marriages out there where you work together to make a happy and comfortable home.
What I disliked the most about my marriage was the lack of security. I’m not talking about being scared of him leaving, I’m talking about being scared to exsist in my own home.
I felt like I was living in a prison and not really living. I was constantly watching my back to make sure I wasn’t about to get hurt again.
I believe when you’re married you should feel safe with that person, not scared of them hurting you, your children, or themselves.
