i ended up hacking off my hair because of a bad accident with relaxer and hair bleach =p so now i’ve got this funny curly natural stuff and i’m not sure what to do with it! one thing i have realised, though, is that my hair actually grows pretty fast. and it’s alot longer than i thought, it’s just all curled up on my head =p
soooo we’ll see! i might straighten it again, or i might leave it alone. who knows! but i dont think it’ll be hard to grow my hair out as long as i go easy on the chemicals (stating the obvious)

most of my roadtrips begin and end in the midwest, and i’ve not gone further west, but i hope to sometime! i’d like to take a summer and just drive on the most scenic route, squiggling north and south on my way to the west coast _
but i’ve been on several extended roadtrips, out to virginia with my family, and then to new jersey with a friend, and up to michigan with that friend and another… and there’s something so fantastically fun about it. especially if you’ve got good friends and a car that’s not too cramped =p pets are fun to have along too!!
my last relaxer was late august last year. this was all brought on by a craaaaazy hair accident involving a bad combination of relaxer and hair bleach (i love blue hair). i decided to grow out my hair with the intent of putting a buffer zone between the old relaxed hair and what i was going to relax, but then i decided i liked the little spirals that were starting to show up.
last week, while attempting to even up some of the heinous breakage i was having in the bleached areas, i just kept cutting and cutting until all my old hair was gone. Wooooooooooaaaahhhhhhhhhhh
at this stage i’m not sure if i like it, or if i’ll stick with it. I might be straight again next month, who knows! But even if I don’t stick with it, I think it’s worth it to learn more about my hair in its natural state, because whatever i do to it won’t change the way it grows out, and learning to care for that hair, will help me take better care of whatever kind of hair i have in the future. =p my hair will always be naturally curly, regarldess of how straight/short/long/black/blue/WHATEVER it is. experimenting can be fun!
