I decided to make my goal be to study for the GRE each week only because I will lose my motivation if I say I have to study each day. Although ideally I will be looking at my study guide daily until June 1st (my self-appointed deadline).

How I did it: My sister actually went to school at this palace/castle for a semester in Scotland. When I was studying in London she visited me and we went to that castle/palace to stay for a few nights. We did some cleaning for them and got to stay for almost free. The place was vacant too because school was not in session. We had the whole place to ourselves. Although there were some freaky sounds which we attributed to ghosts.&nbs… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I have actually finished several screenplays now and am working on one at present (or should be). I used to start them all the time and get about half way through and quit. Well the one that took me four weeks resulted from my absolute passion for the story. Sometimes I can get great ideas but if something in my life is not constantly reminding me about this inner story I want to tell, then I cannot stay focused for long enough to finish … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was gone for one year without my dog so when I returned I made it a point to spend as much time as possible with him and treat him really well. He is one of the nicest dogs I have ever known and so I also made it a point to not get mad at him so easily. I tended to not appreciate him as much before I left so I would nag at him. "Don't do this." "Stop doing that." "Can you give me some personal space here?" But now I just am so thankful … Read how I did it…

February 16… a text messaging fight wherein I got the last word. That’s good enough for me. We’d been broken up for 5 months but were trying to be friends. Needless to say, it was unhealthy. No contact is definitely the best thing. So it’s been 8 days and fairly easy to go without talking/emailing/texting because the last words we exchanged were so tense and awful. I’m going for never talking again.
