Mentoring a young gay person

I would like to be a mentor for a young Gay person, trying to come to terms with who they are. When I was young, around 14 or so, and trying to understand what was going on with my life, and accepting I was gay, I felt very alone. I was living in a small town, and had no one to talk to. I felt like I was the only one, I was ashamed of myself, and had no clue what I was going to do. It all worked out in the end, but not without many years of doubt, and fear. I would like to help others to know its ok, let them have someone safe to talk to, so they can get on with the job of living.
