We used to be BFFs when I was little, and somewhere over the course of my tumultuous teen years we drifted. He will occasionally tell some story that reminds me of what an awesome person he is and all the crazy things he’s done that I don’t know about.

How I did it: When I moved away to college last year, you got a little book of coupons, including one for-- wouldn't you know it?-- the local piercing shop. Freshly 18 and high on legal adulthood, I decided to get my tongue pierced. I actually asked for it as a graduation present, but my mom shot the idea down in about 1.2 seconds. The piercer had to do a lot of positioning with the clamp, as I apparently have a rather veiny tongue. He actually pierced … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I got it done when I was 17 (almost two years ago... how did I get so old?!), which means I had to prod my parents for what seemed like an eternity before they agreed to let me get it done. My mom came with me, signed the forms, and then decided the whole thing was too scary and went to wait in the car.I had read online that it was a painful piercing... but I had no idea. It stands as the most painful piercing I've ever gotten. The first … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'd long wanted a rook piercing, but only decided that I JUST HAD TO HAVE IT OMG two days ago. I had leftover Christmas money, so I pipped on over after doing some research online. Research which, incidentally, only really served to scare me. Horror stories abound-- it never heals, it's the most painful piercing EVAR, don't even think about getting this, etc. Well, it wasn't the most painful piercing EVAR. Far from it, actually. A lot of … Read how I did it…

I need to repair my relationship with the local library. I, of course, have astronomical late fees that will be very embarrassing to pay (if I ever have the money, even). I also need a new card; I used mine as a window scraper last winter and it slowly splintered into a million pieces over time (my mom’s card met the same fate, heh heh). I have been a very bad librarygoer indeed.
Got an A on that dreaded American Lit final, much to my surprise. GPA for this semester stands at a solid 3.83. Yeaahhh buddy.
