So despite having this goal on here for a while now I, myself, was a little skeptical about truly seeing Blink live.

I thought this was in the category of wishful thinking with a low probability of ever becoming a reality. Needless to say, I was stoked when I heard Blink was going to reunite when they announced it live at the Grammys and even more stoked when my friend told me they were playing in San Diego.

At the moment I have tickets with some friends to see Blink-182 on September 16th at Cricket Wireless Amphitheatre. All I can say is I can’t wait!

I was browsing the Euro Pacific Capital website the other day and decided to sign up for their email newsletter and wound up giving them my phone number and some other bits of personal information. This morning I woke up to find a message on my phone left by one of their representatives from their L.A. office politely inquiring my level of interest and offering to answer any questions I might have.

While I don’t have a ton of money to invest at the moment, I do have a little bit so I decided to email the representative back. I requested some general information on the investment process and asked if there are minimum amounts of money that need to be invested or if people with smaller amounts of cash can also invest.

While this is a small step, it still is exciting. Hopefully before too long I will convert my paper dollars into precious metals, commodities, foreign stocks, and other things of real value. Peter Schiff, you’re the man!

Before this quarter started I was at a 3.01 cumulative GPA. After this past quarter where I got two A’s and two passes (which don’t influence GPA) I am now up to a 3.07. Hopefully after this upcoming quarter I can break into 3.1 territory.
