This is not another fad but something that I’m going to continue to do and love doing and I’ll echo other people’s sentiments here – I should have done this earlier.

Made my first meal

Chicken and thyme bake. The white wine and general seasoning could have been more upfront taste-wise but all in all, not a bad effort. The chicken was cooked to perfection and I used tricolore pasta to compliment the dish. I’m cooking again today to finish the chicken off. I’ll be cooking the chicken with cheese and rosemary wrapped with bacon and served in a hot creamy spicy leek sauce. I’m really getting to grips with this cooking lark.

I talked with Mum and told her that I’d taken her criticism badly and so we’re planning two meals together in the next week. The first is Chicken and Thyme Bake and the second is Chicken with Creamy Bacon Penne, both found in a cookbook I bought yesterday.
