How I did it: I'm proud to say that I neither stepped on other people nor did I play up to the bosses, but rather, worked hard, was tough but fair on those who worked for me, was proactive with solutions with those above me, and kept the morale high as I could. It must have paid off, as even now that I am no longer there, I count both my bosses and employees as friends. How I did it: Couldn't convince my husband to let me have a go, so when I was on holidays alone with my sister in the Philippines, we managed to arrange horse riding up in the Baguio mountains, it's a beautiful way to enjoy both nature's landscapes and love for animals. I found it difficult to discipline my horse though, I didn't understand why I have to kick him in the belly for him to go faster, and I think my horse intuitively guessed I wasn't very … Read how I did it…

I already speak Spanish, so although I would also like to pick up French, Portuguese and Italian, I understand a lot of it already as they are all Latin languages…
But German is quite another linguistical group, so I’d like to tackle it, also because my father is originally German though at home we speak English (he has spoken English for over fifty years now, since he immigrated to Australia at 17) ; but it would be nice to converse with him in his native tongue (although his English is perfect, he still counts in German, tell-tale sign!).
I have a good foundation already… but need to review basics anyway!

I worked the whole time I was in Italy, but in Cyprus I at least took a few hours off to soak in the beautiful beaches and visit Aphrodite’s temple…
