How I did it: Our "problem" was that little Morgan was born last year - all in all this kept us away from the slopes for two years, and given that he's only 10 months old now, it might have kept some parents away for longer. What we did was make use of our extended family. I’ve managed to achieve this, but I’m not going to mark this as “done” yet.
Once again, I got rather ill and lost all appetite. This time I can blame the Norovirus for my troubles/success. I can recommend this path to nobody.
I will tick this item off my list if I can keep at this weight for a month.
This morning I weighed in at 12 stone 3 lbs, so close to my goal of 12 stone.
I managed to lose half a stone a month or two ago by dint of getting ill and losing all appetite. But I’ve managed to sustain this with jogging every other day. Tools such as the Facebook Fit-ify app have helped urge me on too. But I should also mention my wife Kathy, who’s supported me all the way, even when I’ve been mooching in the rain and desperate for chips, pizza and curry!
Once I reach 12 stone, I’ll need another goal to get into my ideal BMI range!
