How I did it: I went through and consolidated folders and got rid of duplicate files on my desktop, laptop and my external hard drive. Anything I didn't need for everyday use went on the external hard drive. I also deleted or uninstalled programs no longer in use. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I started by giving my resume a major face lift. Then I went through and pretty much duplicated my resume on the website with more detail and added my design gallery with both pics and videos. I was careful to make sure that no matter what any one clicking on a link in my site will not end up leaving my site. I also had to be careful that all the pics I embedded directly where of a size and layout that would line up on t… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Rented a truck, packed up everything and moved. We did a lot of pre-packing so we wouldn't be rushed. We took Rte 95 out of Vegas to Laughlin and crossed into Arizona there since you can't go over the Hoover Dam in a big box truck. (You're asking to get searched even if they let through) From there we cut across on AZ 68 (I think) to Kingman and from Kingman we went down I-40 to Junction 93. The trick is to be interested while realizing that I can not own how other people feel or what actions they take.
My grandfather spent most of his life waiting to die and he lived to be very old and very decrepit. I feel like I’m following in his footsteps. I’ve been told that it’s not that I want to die, it’s that I’m afraid to live. When I consider all the jobs and new experiences that I’ve turned down over the years, I have to think there is some truth to that. I feel like I’ve sabotaged ever opportunity that I’ve had because it would mean living. What I was most afraid of was living alone to a ripe old age, unable to care for myself. Yes, I have a wonderful husband but at the end of the day all I really have is myself. So my goal is really to be comfortable with me and everything that goes along with being me.
