Always loved riding – but never had lessons (always just managed to stay on and ride around with others; across Dartmoor at dwn wa always a favourite).

Then a ‘friend’ (ha! Some friend) had lessons as a complete novice and asked me along to ‘keep the cost down’. I made the mistake of saying I had ridden beofre and so got no help at all. Eventually I fell off an unsuitable, barely broken horse and injured my leg – 5 days in hospital, operation, 6 months recovery and big scar. Haven’t ridden since- and want to start as though from scratch!

Gathered lots of resources and read them for a project that ended a while ago (literature review was submitted as part of the project report) – and then had the opportunity to write up the literature review for publication.

I so do not know what I am doing! After leaving it for a while (and relecting hard), I think I have a logical structure in mind – now need to go back and review the texts I have, make sure there aren’t more by now and read them in the light fo what I want to do… eek. It is so hard to keep all of them in mind at once to compare…
