I’ve not been feeling as energetic about this goal over the past week.
This week, I’ve been tired and therefore haven’t eaten as healthily as I could. My next actions in getting my life on track is to clean out my kitchen cupboards and to regularly make and take my lunch to work.

I’ve had take out too many times at lunch this week, because I didn’t feel like cooking. Whilst I tried to stick to better choices such as wholegrain bread & vegetable soups, I haven’t eaten as many vegetables as I’d have liked.
Home made soups and casseroles are probably better choices for me as then I have control over the quality and amounts of fat, etc that i might consume.
Today being Saturday, I might make a lovely pot of minestrone soup and enjoy!
The week has been busy and cold and sometimes wet. So, this workday week, 4 out of 5 days, I walked down and up 8 floors at work. That amounted to 200 steps. On day 1 I had to stop 3 times and take a minute or two to catch my breath. By day 4, I had cut 4 minutes from my completion time and had two 60 second breaks on my way up. 2 of my workmates were so impressed, they’ve asked to join me.
The plan is to get to a point where I can do this with ease and then increase the flights of stairs or number of steps that I climb.
I plan to go for a walk or to dance today for my Exercise commitment.
