I am making 5.00 an hour more than I was so I no longer HAVE to have a second job. It is a wonderful feeling like a huge weight has been lifted from my chest. I will probably keep a part-time job for a little bit to save up a little money for some projects I want to do on my house but it’s very liberating knowing I can give it up anytime I want to.

How I did it: I paid 650.00 a month to my credit card companies for 5 years till it was paid off. Basically haven't really had a social life for 5 years but I feel wonderful now that this is behind me. Read how I did it…
How I did it: My parents took me for a birthday present. I had the time off from work already because I was going to go to China but that fell through. Read how I did it…
By all accounts it has been 10 years since I started my degree so I should be a Doctor by now. There were alot of detours in my life though that prevented me from just getting it done. It has been only 2 weeks since I graduated though and I was already offered a job. I had been unemployed for a while and then finally settled on a job at a hotel. I hated it because my schedule was all over the place even sometimes the overnight shift…crappy pay too. Now I have a Mon-Fri job I’m paid 5.00 an hour more than I was making, I get my benefits the day I start working, and there is tons of growth potential…if I hadn’t gotten my degree I would not have been given this wonderful opportunity. Definitely finish your degrees and quickly every little bit that sets you apart is helpful.
I just got the call…I have a job with the SCA-Student Conservation Association. Mon-Fri 8:30-5. Great Benefits. Great Pay. Great growth potential. To top it all off the company has a great purpose and I can feel proud to work for them and such a good cause. AND I can wear flip flops to work if I feel like it. That’s just the icing on the cake. IT IS WONDERFUL!!
