whenever i was a little kid, i always wanted to own a restaurant and name it after my name (how conceited, i know). instead of playing getting married or whatever girls played, i always played owning a business. it was great! i am a dork, i know. i guess i liked the idea of my parents owning a restaurant because whenever i would go to the restaurant we used to own, there was a homely feel. i liked the interaction with the customers and how they would share their stories, it was entertaining.

when i was in the philippines, they taught home economis. the girls would go to this class, while the boys attended carpentry/what men would do (i forgot the name..) class. looking back at that time, it made me realize how old-fashioned philippines is. although, i enjoyed the class. we learned how to cook, how to knit, and how to sew, the domestic chores (in other words). i still cannot sew because i am just terrible at it. my mother can sew very well, so does all the filipino mothers (most of them anyhow), but i just don’t have the patience for it. i want to learn how to sew, so this summer, i am going to learn how to sew well. i can sew but it is terrible, so i will learn how to do it well.
yay, finally got to talk to lil, she’s adorable, i love her. i haven’t spoken to her since january, since everyone is so busy, but i finally spoke to her after all the trouble she went through. she decided to call my ex because i was not able to receive her call, instead of calling amy, diana, maria, or jean, i can list plenty of more people, but no, she decided to call my ex. great, however, i love her!
