Aaargh! Why can’t I get moving on this?? I haven’t been swimming in many, many months. Excuses/Justifications have included: I’m too tired, it’s too far away, I’m broke, my swimsuit is worn out, the weather is too shite and I don’t want to leave the house…

They’re all true, but I need to WORK on them. I need to make getting a new swimsuit a priority.

Reading “Tired of Being Tired”, so with any luck it’ll give me the tools I need to get to a point where I have the energy to get to the pool and to swim.

Being broke isn’t a valid excuse – I can always borrow my partner’s bus pass, and I still have some clips on my last 10 trip for the local pools.

The weather is shite – this is tied up with being tired, I think. I don’t mind bad weather if I have the energy to cope with it.

Eh, I’ve gone off this one. I’m fine with one pair of sneakers, one pair of sandals and one or two pairs of dressier shoes that I only wear if I have to. ;)
