I began my savings account today! So excited. $100 isn’t much, but it’s SOMETHING. I’ll add to that out of every paycheck.

How I did it: I simply decided that I wanted to eat less meat, and began doing so. I seldom buy meat to cook at home, and if I do, it's chicken or fish. I don't eat pork or beef at all (with exception to the occasional hamburger on the grill, and that's very rare). I still eat eggs, and I eat a lot of nuts and potatoes instead of meat. I feel like I'm healthier for having done so! At some point I may completely cut out meat from my diet altogether… Read how I did it…

As my body slowly(!) gets used to this new schedule, I’ve been waking up on my own and having a lot more free time in the mornings, so my goal is to start doing mps again soon. I need to get in at least a little writing every single morning.
I have been failing miserably on this since I got my new job. I have to get up extra early because I have to drive half an hour extra now to get there. I have been doing them on the evenings, though.
