I’ve been making jewelry all my life, but I turned it into a business about 6 years ago. I started out selling on eBay, and now I have my own website and I do shows/festival/events. I love it.

I actually got out of high school at the end of my sophomore year (and no, it was not the GED, it was an early diploma thing). High school did absolutely nothing to prepare me for the “real” world. I have a few friends who consider high school the “best years of their lives.” Which is pitiful and sad. My best years have been every year since I left that steaming pile of dung called a school, almost 20 years ago. ps I went on to college and earned a BA, and had a 3.8 gpa, so success in high school (or lack thereof) is not necessarily an indicator of success in life!
