How I did it: This was a goal to get rid of the constant availability of everyone and stay at a calmer pace, and also to have more face-to-face interactions.I lost my phone, and didn't have replacement for some time. It was interesting, but I think the timing was not good because I was in another country and my friends were somewhat far apart. I would have rather it had happened at my home college where it is smaller and you see more people y… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I took lessons at my university, and I found a music genre that I wanted to learn (country blues), and I stuck with it and over the next few months of practice for 30 min a day a few days a week, I learned some awesome songs for the campfire! Read how I did it…
I hope to go Wwoofing in a few places in the US, and turn it into a long-term american road trip, going from oregon, to colorado, to texas.
So many reasons to do this, I hope it works out.
It’s strange to write about this online because it is so personal, so I am going to keep it brief. This past year I decided that I was going to believe in god. I decided this for various reasons, mainly I wanted faith in my life, I had been agnostic before hand.
Everything about the goal, from the decision to actually putting it in play, were very gradual. Awhile after that decision, I started to pray, and I have liked it a lot. My belief keeps on getting stronger, although I admit I could use some guidance, as there are specific things that need answers. Like should I follow everything Christian, what sort of specifics can or should I believe in. These are tricky questions which I would like to form my own opinion about, but which I know little.
In getting some guidance, I tried going to church in the past but it seems to be really boring to me…I don’t like lecture formats with lots of people. I am thinking a bible-study group or something might be helpful. Something youthful…but not too corny too haha, because when I was younger I thought it was corny…but I guess I am looking at it from a different point of view now so we will see.
Anyway this goal is complete, I am more spiritual, but I have a ways to go in having a stronger faith, which is what I want.
Thanks for reading ;)
