I have gleaned a few things from friends, but when it comes down to it, I choose wine based on … I don’t know … voodoo.
I used to be a vegetarian ...

... but after about 8 years of it, I asked myself what my real motivation was. And I was at a loss to find a good one. It seemed like I was really just being passive aggressive, using vegetarianism to control where we went out to eat, to avoid trying foods I didn’t think I would like, making Thanksgiving a pain in the ass for my parents, etc. Now I eat meat every day. I would like to find the balance, because I seem to have trouble with moderation.
