I participated in Riddle’s Elephant and Wildlife professional internship. It was one of the most amazing experiences with animals I have ever had. Elephants are beautiful, intelligent, complex, and challenging. Anyone in Veterinary Medicine that is looking for a new challenge or a lover of elephants, go check it out. It may have taken almost 8 months to place two beautiful dogs, but with the help of a friend… It finally came true. Not only did they both find a shared home, but they absolutely adore their new pet parent. I am so very grateful that all the hard work has resulted in a happy paw story. :D

It’s weird doing things by yourself after years of having a support system, but I am enjoying it.
