115 degrees on the Valley Floor. The stillness. The dry breeze at night. In a place so threatening to life – that is where my soul comes to life. I like to go in August at the peak of the heat.

Actually, a few weeks ago I may have witnessed a miracle of sorts, but I didn’t believe my eyes. It would be great to have another chance to see, but my belief must get stronger.

I used to be a fanatical exerciser then something happened at around age 50. I’m not fat or anything (5’2”, 108 lbs) but recently found out I have heart disease. Got to exercise or die.
