- join the Disney Cruise Ship (but you have to be 18 years old or older and be willing to work about 14 hours per day
- Audition for parts in Disneyworld (FL) or in Disneyland (CA) on this website below. It also includes the cruise ship auditions.
You can also audition for Disneyland Paris and Disneyland Tokyo on this site. For all of the Disneyland and Disneyworld locations, you have to be 18 too.
For the cruise line, you have to be taller than 5’2” (I asked, and they said so.) I think you have to be 5’4” to fit into the costumes if you are a girl.
I think if you want to audition for Disney Channel, you need to find an agency that knows someone who works there. It will be a lot harder than getting a part at a Disney Park or on a cruise ship.
Just keep acting, singing and dancing as well as going to school and improving your English speaking and presentation skills. They need people who are very good at speaking, presenting and reading. I do not work for Disney, I am just an adult who wants to and who has read a lot about it. Make sure you get a high school diploma and it could help if you went to college for an acting/theater degree. I love Disney because at times it makes movies which inspire people to live their lives in a better way and also to be kind to animals. (I like the movies: The Lion King, Anne of Avonlea, Save the Dog, That Darn Cat, Cheetah, and others.)
I think you should be flexible and idealistic and have lots of dreams in your life, and some of them will definitely come true. :) I’ve actually experienced this in my life and you probably have too. :)
I like to listen to the song “Happy Talk” from The South Pacific musical about believing in your dreams. :)
“You’ve got to have a dream
If you don’t have a dream,
How you gonna have a dream come true?”
