up to 3.112 from 2.991… more updates to come; we’ll see how this semester pans out. Anything higher than 3.2 and I graduate cum laude, but they re-did the system so I’d need a 3.859 for magna cum laude, instead of a 3.7…bastards. (and forget summa cum laude…).
I WANT TO DO WELL. HAVE IT ON PAPER THAT I’M ONE OF THE BRIGHTEST.

How I did it: I went with my ID to the piercing place where I've had all my piercings save two done (the other place was a nightmare--a daith that was infected for a year straight and a misplaced septum piercing)--so yeah, reputation and cleanliness is everything. It was the 13th time I was going to be pierced somehow so I wasn't scared or worried or anything. I was nervous when my usual piercer wasn't there but there was a cutie named greg who really … Read how I did it…
How I did it: you just do it. forget about how it, potentially, could be awkward. don't be self-conscious. I realized I don’t like 99.99% of tattoos because they are often pictures of something with an ascribed meaning, or they are just serve an aesthetic purpose (in which case they become the victim of scrutiny in regards to my own aesthetic taste). So I’ve decided I want an abstract tattoo, something as meaningless as life. Haven’t decided yet whether I want to incorporate symmetry or asymmetry…
I had never had a job before and so I was in this negative feedback loop of never having experience/references=never getting hired=never having experience/references… well yeah, you get the idea. I went for a job at a psuedo-restaurant on my college campus and got it right away, with just a bit of persistence. I had gone above and beyond for a better, more well-paid job with nicer perks, but I had to compete with 250 other people (95 spots) and so it didn’t work out. I’m a college kid, and really, I just swallowed my pride and got a shit job so I could have the money to get me where i want to go. A lot of people actually consider it a cool job, so maybe I accidentally landed a “cool” job. XD
It’s pretty good, and I’m developing a work ethic and appreciating the luxury of studying full-time more.
