perform standup comedy
So this guy walks into a bar... 3 years ago

When I was little I was very into performing routines and jokes. I’d act out silly characters for my mom. When I was 8 years old, I took a stand-up comedy class that was intended for teenagers. They let me in cause I was very precoscious and extroverted. At the end of the class, everyone got to perform at a comedy club downtown. It was a very exciting and rewarding experience, and definitely got me comfortable being on stage and thinking on my feet. Years later I took a creative writing class taught by comedian Rob Nash(you may have seen him on Comedy Central). One of the most fun classes I’ve ever taken. My favorite stand up comedians are Dave Chappelle, Richard Pryor, Robin Williams, Andy Samberg, and all the guys on Whose Line Is It Anyway.
