Since I work at home, it’s tempting to roll out of bed and slog down the hall to the office in the morning. Problems with this:
1. It makes me feel as if work is the first thing I think about in the AM.
2. I start to worry about work an hour before I wake up. I start mental checklists, and they’re effecting my sleep time.
3. I love to jog or do yoga in the AM, and once I start working, I’m not in a mind frame to switch to a physical activity.
In the end, I think I’ll work more efficiently, and be a happier person, by starting work at a normal time, like a normal person.
