My power-yoga instructor offered a 3-session introduction workshop for meditation. It was a held once a week and we explored various techniques. Some I really enjoyed, others I did not (although I suspect this is normal!) I took the workshop the second time she offered it to really help it all sink in . . . I try to do some form of meditation a few times per week. I find it really does help to quiet my mind.

So far, in 3 months, I have only used one plastic shopping bag. Unfortunately being from a small town, I’m sure they think I am planning on stealing something because I bring my bag into the store; but if more people do the same, soon it will be the norm.
My boss owns a Smart Car for the company car. I have been doing town-to-town work the last few weeks, so I have been given the Smart Car to do all the driving. It is awesome. You forget it’s small once you are inside, and it is so good on fuel. A little small for a full load of groceries, and the high winds blow it around a bit (Canada gets some crazy snow stroms . . .) but overall I’m proud to be seen driving it. I encourage it for anyone. No room if you have children or a dog, but great if you commute to work!
