How I did it: I had a dental work done, including a wisdom tooth removed, and so I was unable to drink practically anything but water for at least a week or so. That was my cue to just end it right then. I've felt better since I've let the soda go. Water makes me feel much more alert and I'm not up and down, hyper and then crashing throughout the day. How I did it: I had a little bit of information that a family member had already gathered from a couple libraries and from relatives. I took that and ran with it. I went to town with every single one of those family ties and found out whatever I could. I read books, researched on the Internet, spoke to other people who may be interested in my same family tree... etc. I'm still in the process, and probably will be until the day I die. How I did it: To be honest, my husband got a great job, that pays very well. We were smart with how we spent it. We paid off all of our credit debt in less than 2 months. We didn't spend it frivolously on random things. We set financial goals for our life and we are continuing to head in that direction! Read how I did it…
...but it kinda sucks because it means that I’ll need a new car sooner rather than later. I mean, that’s how it usually works, right? As soon as the stamp is on the envelope, a muffler falls off or the engine falls out.
It’s in pretty good shape, so I’ll just keep crossing my fingers. =)
I don’t necessarily give up… it’s just that it’s not really that important enough to me anymore to be on the top 43 list.
It was such a great time! Went last month to see Matt Dusk perform. Great atmosphere, GREAT music, great food… it was just a wonderful night. I’ll definitely be going back again!
