Finished New Moon and Eclipse. Niether is as good as Twilight, which of course wasn’t very good in the first place. Nevertheless, the author is doing something right: I’ll definitely read the next book.

I baked myself a birthday cake. Two to be exact: the converse high top is white cake, and the flip flop is chocolate. Both covered in fondant, which turned out pretty wrinkly—I should have made more. But overall I was very pleased with them, and they were yummy!

I’m anticipating cross country will be painful. I’ve gone to two of the fun runs this summer. One I didn’t eat anything before I went and ended feeling dizzy and having a stomach ache, and the other was a workout in which I fell way behind. I can’t imagine trying to push myself for 5k every meet!
