I’m starting to think that “going to more concerts” might not be the best way to state this goal. Sure, I could go to a lot of cheap concerts by little known bands, and that would be great.
However, this summer I saw the Rolling Stones on opening night at Fenway. It cost the same as seeing about 4 or 5 cheaper concerts, but it was worth every penny. The Stones still have it. They’re also legendary and will not be around forever (though it sometimes seems as if they will).
I’m glad I saw them and now can have that memory to tell decades from now. I’m a classic rock fan, and so I want to see as many of the legends while they’re still around. They’re older now, and maybe not as energetic, but due to the fact that I was born a little late, it’s the best I can do.

I’d really like to make some crazy flash cartoon that gets 15 minutes of fame. IE: “Weee” “Yatta” “Hatten” “Lost Smurf Episode” or even “All your Base…”
It isn’t hard…it’s just a matter of finding the perfect inspiration. It must make little or no sense, but be funny at the same time.
Random Ideas for components of it:
1. Dr. Jonathan Zizmore (Doctor who advertises on NYC subways)
2. Steve from the “Dude You’re Getting a Dell” commercials
3. PeeWee Herman (Paul Rubens)...maybe a little too obvious though
4. Some of those old educational films about sex/anti-communism and such.

Man. If only it were easier to make the jump from the idea/mockup/proof of concept stage to the implimenting idea in a fully working device stage.
