My boyfriend and I are buying a house, as soon as we find one we like that we can afford. My father is in the process of selling his house (which still has a ton of my stuff boxed up waiting to be dealt with). Basically, I need to figure out what I have, what I need, and what I need to get rid of. I’m a bit of a packrat, so this in not something I’m particularly good at.

For a few years now, I’ve had a second hand guitar sitting in the corner of my room, along with a few books on how to play. I pull it out from time to time, tune it, and even crack the books to page one or two…then forget about it for a month or two. I love to sing, and I want to be able to accompany myself on the guitar, but I just never seem to get motivated enough to really work on it…someday

I’ve never liked the way I sound when I can’t come up with anything better to say. There are moments in life that just seem to call for a swear word, but they are few and far between. I know I’m smart enough to react in a different way, and I want to set a good example for my daughter, which is even more incentive to speak well.
