In March, I walked into a dentist’s office to see if they were taking new patients – they were and I had an appointment in May (exam, incl. x-rays) and then another in June (follow-up, treatment plan) and I am going back in August for two fillings. I am still scared but I am going to go back and never mind my nerves. Two fillings is two too many but it could have been worse.
I’ve decided to say I’ve done this because it just seems to have become so natural to my way of life that I feel I have accomplished it. At least as far as being a dietary vegan goes. I still have to replace leather shoes but am going to buy some vegan shoes this weekend. A major part of being a vegan for me is for the environmental reasons and chucking out wearable shoes which happen to be made of leather is not environmentally friendly. But that aside, I am a vegan and staying a vegan.
