I had forgotten how much this goal meant to me until I was reading all these entries. I worked from age six until age twelve to get there, and now that I’m there I take it for granted. Six years to get there and about two weeks for the romance of it all to wear off and the blisters to begin. But I still do ballet, and still dance en pointe.

This is completely worth doing if you really really want it. If you’re not really “that into” it’s just a world of hurt.

Start Dancing seriously again

So yeah,
Why the hell do I always start things that way? I was talking to a bunch of my old friends from the dnace studio and truly forgot how much I missed that. I was happier then, thinner, more flexible too. I need to start again. I worked en pointe all of last year and kept up ballet, but I’ve let it slip.

I think I’ll take a trip back to CSDA this weekend.
