How I did it: I've been using the myfitnesspal app on the iPhone since June. It's been a slow process because I didn't realize how many calories I was really eating each day! I started tracking my food intake, set a daily calorie goal, and added exercise to my daily routine. I like to walk/run best, but now that it gets dark so early, I've been recording aerobics and yoga shows on the DVR, and I do those when everyone else goes to bed. I'm still losing… Read how I did it…
We had tons – tons! But we’ve paid off two of them now, and the others will be paid off by January. We had to use a credit counseling service, so it’s taken 5 years, but it is worth it. We’ve had to learn how to deal with no more instant gratification, and if we spend too much, it’s with cash, not credit, and then we suffer the consequences because we don’t have anymore money until next payday – and we learn from that! I can’t wait until January!
