I am a stay at home mom, house wife, do light child care out of my home and do school full time online. So I spend most of time at home, making it quite easy to not get dressed. Adding to this, me nor my husband like to put laundry away and it often ends up a large pile in front of the closet, helping my procrastination. When I get dressed, I feel so much better about myself and want to get up and do things. If anybody is having trouble getting motivated, I find it always helps to make myself look nice. It always really helps, its just finding the motivation to do that I need to find! Ever since I got married, I just don’t feel the need to impress as much.

This sounds gross and so unhygienic, but I find it is something I find a treat to have time to take a shower. I do child care in my home, so as long as I have a child here, I cannot use that time. By the end of the day, I am too beat. In the mornings my husband has such a routine I really do not have much of a chance to get in unless I get up before him (being pregnant, I need my sleep or the whole day is shot anyhow). I vow to put myself first and “treat” myself to being clean and feeling presentable with no more excuses! My husband can wait an extra 10 minutes to poop once in awhile.
I used to keep my house immaculate. Now, I’m lucky if my bathroom floor doesn’t have kitty litter on it. But today I have cleaned my whole apartment! I am quite proud of myself, especially since it was unplanned. I have read many times that if you can manage to do something everyday for 3 weeks, it will then become habit and not a struggle anymore. I conveniently have 3 weeks off school. I hope to have a delightful new habit by the beginning of winter term.
