Feels so weird to even consider this. 2 years ago

Okay, so it’s been nine months since Andrew passed away. I’m still not ready for a new relationship for obvious reasons (it wouldn’t be fair to the new guy, since I’d be comparing him to Andrew, etc). But I’m starting to accept that SOMEDAY I will find someone else and I’ll need to stop comparing and start accepting them for their own unique qualities. Someday. Not now.

I wanted to marry my soul mate, but he's gone. 3 years ago

Andrew recently passed away. I didn’t want to marry anyone, I wanted to marry HIM. And we would have. But he’s gone. I don’t want to get married for the sake of getting married.
