How I did it: I wanted to get something besides my ears pierced but I didn't want it to be a really obvious facial piercing or something that everyone does nowadays so I quickly landed on tongue piercing, looked up information on risks, how long it takes to heal, and found a reputable piercing place in my area. How I did it: Went with my mom to the blood center one day because she started donating before I did. They're more than happy to take walk-ins.
