..and we are still going strong. My one year old son is asleep and nursing in my lap right now. It’s been rough at times, but incredibly satisfying.

My son is eight months old and he is still breastfeeding. I have no doubts we will make it to one year. He eats solids every day except when he is teething and refuses to open his mouth. His diet is still mostly breastmilk, which is thriving on. Breastmilk is amazing.
I’ve gotten into the awful habit of eating everything on my plate. Afterwards I feel terrible and it’s the reason for the little bit of baby weight that’s still sticking to me. I don’t think I need to lose weight, just tone up. So this goal is not meant for losing weight, but rather to be more healthy. Diet affects everything. mood, energy, skin tone—the list goes on and on.
I used to eat slower and I listened to my body when it said stop. I want to go back to doing that.
