I’m waiting for the instructor’s approval to take a Breathing for Life class starting next week. The class focuses on meditative breathing. I thought it would be a good way for me to work my way back into yoga and maybe the instructor will know of a good prenatal class. I took an actual yoga course with him in college about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. I think it will help me find some relaxing breathing practices for while I’m in labor as well.

How I did it: Accomplishing this goal makes me happier than words can describe. I inherited our old house from my parents and I had to live there for an additional 3 years before getting rid of it. We put several thousands into updates and ended up renting TEN dumpsters to get rid of all of my parents' stuff. Parts of this house should have been on the show Hoarders. After plenty of tears, headache, and money, we are finally clo… Read how I did it…
How I did it: It took moving to finally force me into doing cleaning out my drawers (and closets, and basement, and attic...), but I got it done! It feels so good to be clutter free. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I can finally confidently consider this goal complete. After years of frustration and several mishaps that led to food in the garbage, something has clicked and I can do it. I was cooking at least 3 days a week for about 6 months before I got pregnant. Now the smells really bother me and I just really do not feel like it so I haven't been doing much in the past few months. Most of the basics I have covered, and I can thr… Read how I did it…

I am changing this goal from contact friends more often to make new friends. As I have gotten older and as I am having more children, I’ve grown apart from my old friends. Most of them are still stuck in their old ways of partying, even if they have children, and I have grown out of it. I need more mature friends with their shit at least somewhat together.
Making new friends in your 20s is incredibly difficult though. I’m a quiet person to begin with and I don’t know where to start!
I am changing this goal from obtain my bachelor’s degree to figure out what I want to do with the rest of my life. Whether or not that includes a higher degree does not matter to me anymore.
