Well, after going on a date with the guy I met online. . . it’s seven months later we’re together, in love, and very happy! It has made such a difference to my life to have someone who cares about me and wants to be with me! I’ve revised my previous opinion: falling in love is so worth it!
I joined the staff choir at work last year, and I love it. We’ve sung at various events in Cork and beyond, and I’m making some good friends through it, so it was definitely worth stepping outside my comfort zone to do it!
I met someone in May through an internet dating website – it was my birthday at the end of April and as a present to myself (!) I sent him a message saying I liked his profile on my birthday. We were emailing daily from then until we met – for a coffee at 3pm, and I finally got home at 10.30pm! It’s going really well so far, and I’m really happy, so obviously I think this thing is worth doing!
