I'm doing 32 things
I had the game for years, since it first came out.
I picked it up really quick, only playing two songs on easy before switching to Medium.
I played through that until the end and, after several weeks, managed to hit Expert level.
I struggled, but managed to beat all but two songs:
“Cowboys From Hell” by Pantera and
“Bark at the Moon” by Ozzy.
Those songs plagued me for years.
I seriously couldn’t beat either of them if my life depended on it.
But after playing through Guitar Hero II, I picked up the original game and managed to survive “Bark at the Moon.”
It was refreshing, but still frustrating that I couldn’t beat the other song.
A few more attempts only continued to anger me and I gave up quickly.
It wasn’t until a few months ago that I decided to try again, and I surprised myself.
I beat “Cowboys From Hell” on my third attempt,
earning the Axe Guitar
and successfully beating the game.
Probably one of the most accomplishing feelings I’ve experienced in all my years of gaming.
