I’ve been going so spin class 3-4 times a week for a month and my body doesn’t look any different. I eat healthy so I know it’s not because of that. I guess I just need to be patient, maybe it will take longer since I don’t have a lot of fat to lose? Haha, I don’t know.

How I did it: My undergraduate experience in college was not what I would have liked it to be. Because my degree was general music and not music performance, I felt like a lot of the faculty at the school I go to (the University of Texas at Austin) felt that I had less talent than others. For Christmas, I got my family and friends animal adoptions from the World Wildlife Fund. They all really liked them and my aunt was so touched that she decided to become a monthly donor. I liked the fact that I had spent $150 on all the adoptions and I wasn’t having anxiety about the money I’d spent (like I sometimes do when I buy material gifts.) I decided that even though I’m a poor student, I still have enough money to eat out and go shopping so I should be helping out people who need it.
