Another apt with the Endo this month 3 days ago

I’ve kinda let this goal slide. I’ve made a follow up appointment with my endocrinologist to get my health back on track. I think getting on birth control has helped to level out my hormone levels. I need to see now if I can get back on a statin to reduce some of my other symptoms.



Practice Self Care
I am changing gears a little 3 days ago

Instead of hiding in shame, I am going to start focusing more on self care and self love. It’s something that I actually started at the beginning of the year and has brought some very positive changes in my life. It’s strange how something so simple can be so monumental. It’s a slow process, but I feel that I’ve made huge steps forward since I started with 43things over 2 years ago. I am moving “stop cheating” to the done list. I feel this was a self defeating title. It’s time to move on and focus on the good in my life and let the pain of the past melt away. It’s time to forgive myself.

To begin the process of transforming bad habits to spiritual power, we must recognize that the pain of the bad habit is worse than the pain of healing. Cultivating good habits is difficult, but it is more difficult to maintain bad habits.
