I’m 31. First of all, I don’t feel like I am 31 and don’t want to be either. I had this painful realization while I was in the mall the other day regarding this issue. I was looking at shoes and I saw the cutest vans that were pink and they had black pirate skulls on them. I started to look for my size when I reeled back. What the heck was I doing??? People my age aren’t supposed to want those kind of shoes. But I do…and I’m sad that I am now stressing about what is age appropriate. Should 31 year olds be in love with John Mayer, as I am? Should 31 year olds want to wear pink vans? I may be overthinking, which would not be abnormal for me, but I need feedback.

Semester #2
I just started the second semester this month. I am surprised that I made it through that last one. It has been so long since I’ve been in school that I wasn’t sure I had it in me anymore. I think I will be ok. Just gotta keep chuggin along.
I think I'm in trouble...

Really, I do. I think that I may be too old to get married. I am 31 and there are a lot of things that my boyfriend (can’t we find some other term than this…sounds so jr. high) does that I can not stand. I’m sure that if we were together when I was young and naive that I would have grown used to his idiosyncrasies, but I feel like I am too old to put up with anything that I consider annoying. This may cause me to live the life of a spinster. Guess I’ll have to get some cats.
