Oh I am so excited and nervous about this. I have decided to take the plunge and I feel that this program will suit me. I feel old, though. A friend of mine who had done AmeriCorps in Philadelphia said not to worry, that there were people of all ages. Next week I go to Indianopolis to do the PSO. Woo hoo.

How I did it
How I did it: I got a job at a used bookstore that was a public company. As much as they didn't try to force feed the image of a big box corporation, they were a big box corporation. People tried to sell us books that were obviously moldy or smelled an awful lot like animal piss and tell us that they were perfectly fine.
