Now that I get my medical from the VA I get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses every two years. I’ve usually had good luck with them. Having said that, I’m off tomorrow to see what’s wrong with the pair I got only a month ago: almost impossible to read, can’t read product labels, have to take them off to see my computer screen. I’m sure they were ground wrong and will have to be reordered. It’s not like going to whatever doctor you want and choosing from a much larger selection but it doesn’t cost me $250 either.

How I did it: Unfortunately this will probably help you only if you get your glasses from the Veterans Administration. For all the bad press the VA gets I've been treated there for more than just glasses and got terrific treatment. But then again I was in during Vietnam and my disability is a far cry from the bad cases in every war, especially our troops in Iraq in Afganistan. That's enough of that! From glasses to an onset of a PTSD episode.Yuk. Read how I did it…
This is a bit of a “cheat” in that I’ve already done it, but I think I deserve some latitude because at my age and with my health there’s probably more things looking back than looking forward.
It was in 1986 driving from the East to West coasts some fifty miles or more outside of Las Vegas is Nye County. In Nye County is a town called Pahrump and in Pahrump is a bunch of brothels. The biggest and best known is the Chicken Ranch (According to the “ranch,” which is a number of mobile homes somehow attached to each other, the name is derived from earlier days when services were provided in exchange for chickens).
Entry is obtained by talking into a speaker on a high chain-link fence (I imagine you’re being watched on CCTV). Buzz, click, the chain link door unlocks and you enter the fenced in area with about twenty feet between you and the main door. Clink, the chain link door closes behind you.
The single door to the trailer is opened by a very big man with a really big gun on his hip. You sit on the sofa, the madam calls the girls, they line up in front of you and she tells you each one’s name. You make your choice and off you go to a suite for two.
It’s not until then that money is discussed. I think it was about $1,000 for 2+ hours, $3,000+ for an in house, all night “date.” Paying by credit card has an additional $50 per transaction surcharge.
There’s an actual menu you can peruse while your “girl” is checking you for whatever visible disease(s) you might have. Of course, you can do whatever she will agree to on or off the menu.
I stayed the night. We started with a bubble bath in a red, heart-shaped tub. She was anyone I wanted her to be. She wore anything I wanted her to wear. She did almost everything I wanted. And, she was gorgeous, in her late thirties, beautiful.
I have one medium length story and a couple of smaller ones posted on one site. However I won’t be publishing there anymore because they insist on holding the copyright to everything on the site.
I have another medium length story posted on Literotica where copyrights are not an issue. I will probably continue to post there for the forseeable future. Literotica also has volunteer editors that will work with you on grammar. Some will also make suggestions on plot, character development, etc.
I currently have two stories that I will post soon. They’re both major rewrites of other things I’ve done but I’ve learned so much since then I’ve got to rewrite before I post. I also have two other stories in the works. They’re quit long; I’ll probably have to break them up into chapters.
I have two primary suggestions; one, read good and not so good erotica and material about writing in general and erotica in particular; two, write erotica and listen to the critiques.
