You’re Invited to a Live Practice on Saturday Morning
Thrashers Open Doors to Fans for Morning Skate

The Thrashers host their first pre-season game in Blueland Saturday night, Sept. 22, but fans can get an inside look at the team that morning when the doors will be open for practice. The gates open starting at 9:30 a.m. with practice running from 10 a.m. to noon. Head Coach Bob Hartley will be MIC’d for the first hour of practice and Executive Vice President and GM Don Waddell will be on hand to give the crowd his thoughts on the upcoming season.

Oh no! I said the F word! 11 months ago

Fall is near, oh so near… Time to start making plans for year end and putting them into motion!

My big goal for October is to start volunteering at the GA Aquarium. I’ve been looking forward to it for a long time and by then I will have finished all of the basic training I need to take.

November is national novel writing monh, so I’m writing a novel in a month, or so I hope. I’m working on the plot/research now.

December… I want to go to New York. I don’t know how I’ll make it happen, since it’s so busy at the office around that time, but that’s what I want to do.

Between the two of them, they’re eating up all of my time. I’m enjoying every bit of it though :)
So far, I’m halfway through “what’s wrong with the world?” and just got started with “beyond good and evil” a couple of days ago.

For those of you interested, Project Gutenberg has some of their books available for download.
