I’m a little more than half through The Girl Who Played With Fire. My husband bought The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and said he wanted to read it together, which we’ve never done, because he’s not a huge reader. However, we did a pretty job of sharing and it was fun to talk about the plot with him, so when we both finished it, I bought the second one and we’re making our way through it. The first one took a bit for me to get into, as I was intimidated by the length, but it was worth wading through the first 100 or so pages to get to the good stuff. Now I think I absolutely have to read The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet’s Nest.

How I did it: I started reading these books with my husband, and fell in love with them. They're hard to put down once you get into them. It took a lot of work to find the third book of the series, but we finally did. Read how I did it…
How I did it: When our little one was born, life got much more chaotic and unorganized. It's impossible to be ready, out the door, and on time for work if I don't get up when the alarm goes off (or when baby decides we're up for the day). I don't get to sleep in anymore, but the trade off is amazingly worth it. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm 24 now, and I haven't eaten meat since I was about seven years old. I think that was right around when I figured out what meat was and I couldn't see a big difference between my dog and cows (I mean a big enough difference to justify eating one and not the other). The health benefits are astounding, as is the (lack of an) impact I know I'm making on the planet. I'm so proud to say that I'm a vegetarian. Read how I did it…

Well, we’ve done a lot of great things with her, like take her to the zoo, visited a museum, gone to lapsits at the library, and held playdates. And we’re in the process of giving her a little sister.
I still want to remember to have plenty of tea parties and picnics, and above all, let both of these little girls know how loved they are and that I’ve waited my entire life to give them everything I have.
I’ve been bad about keeping up with 43Things! I’ve since devoured every Sedaris novel I could get my hands on, including the newest, Squirrel Seeks Chipmunk. I believe I’ve read them all now, with the exception of Barrel Fever.
